How to write a Leave Letter?

This is a very simple leave letter for School students. Please don’t go for man fancy words. Try to be as simple as possible.

The syntax of the Letter:

From
     (Your Name)
     (Your Class)
     (Your School)

To
       The Class Teacher
       (School Name)

Respected Sir/Madam/Principal,
                            Sub: Requesting for Leave
      As I’m suffering from (Disease), I need to take rest. So, Please grant me leave for (Number of Days) days.
                                                Thank You
Date: __________                                                                                 Yours truly
Place:__________                                                                               (Your Signature)

Example for the Leave Letter:

From
Gokul Deepak S.
10th Standard
Mepco Schlenk Matriculation School
Madurai.

To
The Class Teacher
Mepco Schlenk Matriculation School
Madurai

Respected Sir,
Sub: Requesting for Leave
As I’m suffering from Fever, I need to take rest. So, Please grant me leave for 2 days.

P.S:

  1. No comma( , ) after From and To
  2. There should not be Apostrophe ( ‘ ) in yours.
  3. Saying thanking you became old fashion. So Just Thank you is enough.
  4. Instead of obediently, faithfully use truly. If our teachers are conservatives you can use obediently.
