How to write an Accommodation Letter for Visa Application

If you are about to stay in a hotel for your abroad trip you should be submitting Hotel ticket with the application. If you are staying with family or friends in the trip then you have to attach a letter with details of accommodation. So here I’m explaining How to write an Accommodation Letter for Visa Application. As usual in my style of writing this is a very simple letter which is enough for the Visa application. If the letter gets more complicated so then your visa approval. In the example, I have taken Malaysia for reference. You can replace it with any other country.

Syntax:

To,
The Visa Officer
Immigration Department of {Destination Country}.

Subject: Accommodation Details

Sir/Madam,

I am {Name} holder of passport number {Passport Number} would be staying with my friend {Friend Name} {His ID number or Passport Number} at the address:

{Door Number},
{Building Name},
{Locality},
{District},
{State},
{Country}.

I have attached his {ID/Passport} with this letter.

Thank you.

Yours Truly,
[Name]

If the Family or Friend is the citizen of the destination country then you should include his ID number of that country. If he is not the citizen of that country then you should mention his passport number and which country passport does he hold.
